Having lights installed at your house is a festive and delightful way to celebrate the holiday season. Many homeowners choose to hire us for this task to ensure safety and a beautifully decorated home. We make the process as simple as possible by requiring a one-time payment which covers the whole service from install to removal. This payment can also be broken up between installation and removal to help offset the cost. The lights are custom made to fit your home and a 35% off discount is applied the years following the initial installation. Here’s an overview of the process of having Christmas lights installed at your house:
- Initial Consultation: The process begins with an initial consultation between you and one of our design technicians. During this consultation, you’ll discuss your ideas, preferences, and the areas of your home or property you want to decorate with lights. You can also specify any special requests or themes you have in mind.
- Design and Planning: Based on your preferences and the layout of your home, we will create a design plan for the Christmas lights. This plan includes the type and color of lights, the placement of lights on your house and landscaping, and any additional decorations or features. During this time we will also consider the electrical requirements and safety measures needed for the installation. This will be when you receive the price for the all-inclusive service.
- Installation: On the scheduled installation day, we will arrive at your home with all the necessary equipment and lights. We will safely and securely attach the lights to your house, roof, eaves, windows, trees, shrubs, and any other designated areas. Special care is taken to ensure that lights are installed evenly, securely, and in a way that enhances the overall aesthetic.
- Electrical Setup: The install technician will set up the electrical connections needed for your Christmas lights, which may include extension cords, timers, and outdoor-rated electrical outlets. Safety precautions are taken to protect against electrical hazards, such as grounding and weatherproofing connections.
- Testing and Quality Check: After the installation is complete, the install technician will test all the lights and decorations to ensure they are working correctly. They will also conduct a quality check to make sure everything is in place and looks as planned.
- Maintenance and Removal: Throughout the holiday season, all maintenance is included with the service, this covers any issues that may arise, such as burnt-out bulbs or damaged wiring. After the holiday season is over, the install technician will return to remove the Christmas lights and decorations, ensuring they are stored properly for the following year.
- Storage: Lights are leased to you by JZ Power Washing to ensure you don’t have to worry about storage, repairs, or maintenance. We will label your lights for next year and store them in a climate controlled storage facility.
